What is the difference between a QR code and a barcode?
A traditional barcode is one-dimensional — vertical stripes that hold a short number. A QR code is two-dimensional and stores hundreds of times more data, including text, URLs and contact details. This tool decodes QR codes; it does not read 1D barcodes.
Can this tool decode several QR codes from one image?
The decoder reads the QR code it locates in the image. For the most reliable result, crop the image so it contains a single QR code. If you need to decode several codes, decode them one image at a time.
